ABOUT MEI was in the United States Navy, which started my love for traveling and learning about different cultures. I was fortunate to travel around the world and visited countries such as Spain, United Kingdom, Greece, Bahrain, Puerto Rico, Serbia, Georgia, Cyprus, Turkey and the US Virgin Islands. I graduated FIU with a bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. While attending FIU, I studied abroad in Norwich, England and attended the University of East Anglia. In addition, I took Global Learning classes and volunteered at The Mission Continues, which is a non-profit program that helps homeless veterans. I am nearing the completion of my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. My area of research involves finding and preventing criminal behaviour related to mental illness in children and veterans. I have a deep love of different cultures and history that I am very excited to keep learning about. To learn more about me and to see more of my photos, follow me Instagram @jennifer.werkheiser.
